These are very easy and simple insertions
to crochet.
Use them as pins, fridgies, or insertions
in your doilies or as appliqués.
using thread #10, green shade of your choice, hook #7.
Irish Knot:
This consist of 4 interlocking knots.
1st knot: Ch 20 and
join with sl st. Ch1 and 40 sc in
ring. Join with sl st and break off.
2nd knot: Ch 20, slide into 1st knot
and join with sl st. Ch1 and 40 sc
in ring. Join with sl st and break
off.
3rd knot: same as 2nd knot, but slide
into 2nd knot instead.
4th knot: same as 2nd knot, but slide
into 1st knot instead to join all
circles.
Shamrock:
Ch 15, join with sl st into 10th ch from hook. In ring formed (clover): * 3sc, 3 hdc, 3 dc, 3 hdc, 3sc, join in former sl st. Ch 10 and join with sl st at base. Repeat from *. Make another clover or two and break off.
