Free Crochet Pattern - Great for Halloween: Little Spider
This is an adorable little spider! Quick to crochet! Can be used as a pin or as an appliqué on a doily. Great for a "spooky" Halloween touch!
Crocheted in size 10 Black or Orange thread & crochet hook size 7.
Finished size: 1-3/4" x 1-1/2"
Beginning: Ch 4, make 11 dc
in 4th ch from hook and join with
sl st.
1st leg: Sc in same st, ch 8,
sl st in 2nd ch from hook and remaining
ch, sc in 1st dc, sc in nx dc.
2nd leg: Repeat as for 1st
leg.
3rd leg (short one): Repeat
as for 1st leg, except ch 5 (instead
of ch 8).
head: In next dc make: sc
and dc, in next dc: 2 trc and in next
dc make: dc and sc.
Work opposite side the same way
starting with a short leg + 2 long
ones, finish with sc in remaining
dc and sl stitch, fasten off, hide
treads.
Ideas: You can sew on little
eyes on the head or add little glass
beads.
