Free Crochet Pattern: Thanksgiving Turkey
An adorable little turkey right on time for Thanksgiving! You can use it as an appliqué or a pin. Made using size 10 cotton thread. Measures approx: " x ".
Body with Fudge Brown:
Rd 1: Ch 4, 12 dc in 4th ch
from hook, join with sl st.
Rd 2: Ch 3, dc in joining st,
2 dc in each dc around, join with
sl st. Fasten off.
Tail in Pumpkin Orange:
Rd 1: Ch 3, dc in same st, *dc
in next st, 2 dc in next st. Repeat
from * 7 times, ch1, turn
Rd 2: Sc in next dc, *ch 6,
sk next dc, sc in next dc. Repeat
from * around. Ch 10, turn.
Rd 3: *Sc in previously sk dc,
ch 10. Repeat from * around. Fasten
off.
Feet in Mocha
Attach thread in center dc with
sl st, *ch 5, sc in 2nd ch from hook
and each ch. Sl st in next dc and
repeat from *. Fasten off.
Head in Mocha:
Ch4, make 12 dc in 4th ch from
hook, join and fasten off.
Wattle in Cardinal Red:
Same as feet, except ch 4 (instead
of ch5)
Eyes with Pale Yellow:
Sew on two knots for the eyes.
Finishing:
Hide all thread by weaving them
through wrong side of work to hide
them.
