The story behind this home
I fell in love with this house when I first saw it back in 1994. Although it needed a lot of work, it had the charm of these old houses (it was built in 1929!) that is hard to find nowadays... and on top of this it is a two story house! I have 3 children and this house was perfect for us! Each child has his/her own room and the den served as their playroom. All the bedrooms and located on the 2nd floor plus one bathroom. The 1st floor has a foyer, kitchen, laudry room, dining room, living room and bathroom. There is an attic too! In 1995, we remodeled just about everything that needed too: new windows, ceilings, walls, electric wiring, insulation, AC...etc! In 2008 we remodeled the kitchen! Today, the kids are all grown up and have moved out. Eventhough I still love this house, it is way too big now. I am looking for a smaller house, just as charming as this one.
I hope you will fall in love with this house too! It does need some TLC... you probably will want to give it a fresh coat of paint inside, maybe replace the carpet... The vinyl siding needs pressure cleaning, and the yard some attention.
